Yep - Toyota Supra, Supra Turbo, Celica, RWD Van and Pickup. I've gotten parts from Toyota for mine when Jeep didn't have them (or have exactly what I wanted...)

I think they improved the gearing and beefed up the clutch packs for the Jeep, but it's one of the simplest slushboxes I've ever worked on!

I do believe that the AW4 is actually a Toyota transmission. When I have ordered parts for it, we always end up finding the AW4 listed with Toyota transmissions.

It's not a toyota transmission, it's an Asin warner transmission that is also used by toyota. I doubt ford ever had anything to do with it...
