Yeah, it looks fast. It's not. It tops out around 45. Before the impellar it did good to make it to 25. It does jump right out of the water now tho.

I'm actually not used to it jumping out of the water. My youngest, the one on the right, wasn't holding on and managed to flip backwards out of the seat when I gunned it the first time. I said "HANG ON" then heard her smack the floor and start crying. Bad Daddy!

But yeah, 45 is plenty fast. I told my wife now that it's running I wanna put a big block and a big pump on it! 120mph!

Glad you got it going... I was wondering about this thing the other days. Stay away from sand bars with it running... itll destroy that impeller pretty quick. Shut it off a good ways away before you pull up on a bar. Glad you got it going, now enjoy the rest of the warm weather!

PS, A battery tender and some StaBil is your friend for winter storage. WD-40 or equivalent in the cylinders too.... she will fire right up next summer.

Me too. I'm in the middle of trying to find someone to reupholster the seats. Then I gotta put a radio back in it and replace the engine lid latch.
