Did search... too much info ;)

I need thoughts on if needed or not on an XJ?

Removed on my Nissan and never missed...

threw mine away long ago. you can re use the axle side mount for a "bar pin" eliminator

dump the sucker and never look back.

It's a toothpick compared to the front one (not gonna get that debate started), wasn't included on some XJs as others noted, and is a pain to put back onto the U-bolts so I kicked mine to the curb when I put my new leafs in. Never even noticed since the new springs are stiffer.

Thanks... about what i figured.

Building and installing a basturd pack this weekend and figured the install would be easier without ;)

Any thoughts on towing over 3000lbs with the sway bar removed? I've already tossed the front one, but both??

I've a desire to use chains in winter when in the bush up here in the great white north, but the rear sway bar ends not even 1/2" from the bead of the rim, no room for nothing let alone chains.

Thanks.

I don't think the rear one is doing a damn thing for you especially with the front one already off....... :dunno:

Yeah... I'd put the front back on and take the rear off. The rear is a toothpick.

i like how mike and zarco (in4aride and elguapo) just start adding in on the RRC threads now....just random ...from a thousand miles away....

but ya....you only need sway bars if you're a mall crawler like me....and even i only have a front one

I never noticed any difference when I removed mine. That being said, the RRC has put into motion a dastardly plan to absorb all other chapters, "One chapter to rule them all!" All hail Kurt!:jester: Mwuhahahahah!

and im not running any sways on my jeep currently, just dont drive it like a douchebag and your fine
... till some idiot talking on their cellphone merges into your lane without looking, or a deer decides to play chicken, or something similar, and you have to make an evasive maneuver... good luck then
