Rear Sway Bar???

I have a 4.5" rusty's lift, I am going to take the rear sway bar out, the previous owner left it in because of Maryland's strict inspection requirements.
How long should it take and how hard is it to get out without lifting up the rear of the jeep?

Pretty hard....You're going to have to take the nuts off the u-bolts to get the rear sway bar off, so it would be best to jack the rear end up and take the tires off.

Don't bother with all that, just remove the rear bar from the links, leave the links where they are until the next time you have your axle off (if ever). They don't get in the way.

Yeah, I agree. I thought it was easy.
I'm not a great mech. but I don't remember having to even jack it up.
I thought "wow, that was too easy for a guy with my limited abilities."

Wish I could do all the repairs with that much effort!
