Rear shock mounting

Do most people remounting their rear shocks just cut then reweld the bracket higher up or do they get the new mounting brackets?

Dunno about most, but I cut mine off, reshaped and rewelded them up higher.

i got my new mounts from ORGS. i was too lazy to grind the old ones carefully.
