rear seat

does anyone know if the xj ever came with rear headrests? I have a '99 and would like to get a rear seat with them. Mainly for the safety of my daughter.

They were available in XJ's everywhere except North America.

Or you can swap in some rear ZJ seats and such I've heard.

How do you comp lete ly fo ld the rear seat down on the Europe Jeeps? Can you remove the headrests for fo lding?

A rear ZJ seat is too wide but a WJ seat will fit. Run a search, it's been done with a bunch of pics.

Yup, ZJ is 1992-98

WJ is 1999-2004

Yeah I saw something about the seat swap. At least for the rear seats it was just a remove and reinstall process!

Not quite that easy but if you're willing to lose a bit of rear leg room it can be done. :thumbup:
