Hehe, I posted just as you did.
We gotta finnish PrincessII, then you gotta dump the 4.3 for a 7M and the buggie project will come alive! ;)

Speaking of which, Ken's car is alive.

I mean REALLY alive.

It's over 400 hp now without a doubt. 60 trim Garrett wheel, Lexus 550 cc/min injectors, Lex Air/fuel meter, etc.

Launching it's the hard part, 1st is smokey, spun the tires through second, and spun again halfway through third. Bigger tires are now being budgeted. :)

7m's rule, it would rock to have one in the buggy. I got offered one that's in good shape for next to nothing, but hooking it to my driveline would be a biatch, as would wiring. Just the sight of that POS Chevy 4.3 makes me want to puke. WTF was I thinking????

I got the lights at a local trucking place but you can get them on line at buytruckstuff.com. The reverse indicators are Truck-Lite model#30s as suggested by Farmerboy.

I had a local sheet metal fab shop do the bends. Where the lights are it's flat but as it goes forward it curves with the body.

So how did you (or they) get the body angle on that piece AND get it to curve as it extends along the body? What thickness is the piece on PrincessII? Thanks, Jeff

I simply had the sheet metal place bend it to my specs. It's 12GA so as I bolted it down it conformed to the flanks of my XJ.
12GA is what I used for PrincessII as well.
