Rear Bumper w/ tire carrier

wait do they or dont they? A few posts back is a white one without corner guards, id want them. For that price they better come with lol.

Oh i see.... Hmm... is there any info on the length of these? I have my rear fenders removed, but eventually they fender will be pie-cut and folded and someday some bushwackers
 
got any pics of rear fenders removed?
 
My rears are uncut, but when i put on 35s they will be cut, in addition to being cut i may eventually install bushwacker flares. As of right now there are no flares on it. The plastic corners are slightly trimmed. I like both looks, I'm trying to figure out how much i would need that corner panel protection. It looks really clean without the corner pieces so im not sure, heres a couple pics of my xj. In the street one i have the plastic pieces removed because i was cleaning it... but it gives you an idea of the trimming i did....

Anyone have any insider info on things at Rigid? I've been trying to place an order over there by phone and email for a week now and I can't get ahold of anyone.
 
He tends to take off and go on long drives. He could be on vacation . He is retired you know. He builds bumpers as a side job.

ive been thinking about buying a spare tire carrier, but then I saw an older XJ on the road the other day with what looked like a FACTORY swing out spare tire carrier that jeep used to put on some kind of edition they made. anyone know anything about these? when the stopped making them? im thinking about going the cheap route and finding one at a junk yard, painting it and trying to bolt it on to my bumper...


cant stand carrying my full size spare on my safari basket anymore. it sounds like a I have a fat woman on my roof whenever im wheeling.

Also if I remember correct, there was some thread in the past about how you cannot add the factory swing out to a Jeep that didn't have it. Something to do with the factory one having added metal where it connects and the regular Jeep not having that, and it being a PITA to do...

I actually ended up ordering the Detours bumper when I couldn't get ahold of Rigid. Rigid then called me back the next day. I may still order the Rigid for my other XJ.

Sorry, I coulda cleared up your issue with Rigid if I had seen this thread after you posted. He had some personal issues that he needed to be out of town for, so he wasn't in the shop for at least a week. If it was after that, he was probably just trying to catch up on orders that were already placed. I'm getting my Rigidco FbG this Friday after 2 months of waiting. It'll be worth it though, and Terry was a great guy to deal with and kept me updated about the progress. party1:
 
Hey, do any of you guys run tank skids w/ any of these bumpers?

I'm looking into ordering something soon, but I'm not sure what I want. I would like it to fit w/ a tank skid.
