Rear Bumper Build

I sold my old rear bumper and just started a new one. 1.75"x.120", will have a 2" receiver, some mudflap mounts:wierd: , and maybe even some speed holes. Mounts run through the "frame" rails and are secured with 3, 1/2" bolts and two factory bumper bolts on each side.

nice im in the process of building bumpers also. And wanted to do something similar.

I havent cut and folded my rear fenders yet. I know crazyjim and yourself both have cut. Do you think the tires would actually contact em? I bent the out lip over to the inner fender and made it flat. But Im kinda iffy about cutting the entire rear fender square.

Not a hijack. I don't think the tire would hit if you just folded the factory pinch weld seam. I was into the wheeling and I hated how the old quarters looked so I cut and folded.

There's a thread in the CO chapter called anutterbumperbuild or something similar, FankZ is making a prerunner-style bumper with a swing out tire carrier and whatnot. Check it out.

No I decided against it. Not this bumper but my next one will most likely have a tire mount.
