RE Leaf Bushings

Actually the "bad batch" was not just the control arms, and it was not just Rubicon Express lots of rubber product and companies got a bad batch if rubber products from valve stems, shock bushings, CA bushings and leaf pack bushings. At work I deal with many different lift brands and we have seen it in many different products.



That sucks. What a pain in the ass.

I wonder if that includes OME bushings...

I had a bushing on my steering stablizer that was so bad, it deteriorated, and fell out. It literally was GONE.

Upon inspection, I can see that my leaf bushings are cracking.

I'm having the same problem with my rear leafs. The bushings in the rear have gone bad after 10 months of use. Dose anyone have a part number for a bushing that can be picked up at a local store? RE wants 65.00 for bushing plus 15.00 s&h... WOW. I would rather get a part near home.

Total for a complete set was like $38 shipped!
Just make sure you measure your leafs to be sure you have the correct size bushing!

Seem to be a good bushing & Much cheaper than RE.
The RB-71 is the Shacke end leaf bushing.
The RB-121 is the frame end bushing.

Just to update my post.

Almost 3 years & over 25K miles (So Far) on the Stengal bros. bushings
with no issues!
