Mine was the same way. It's for the rear brake line.
If I remember correctly, (It's been more than a year) the lift instructions had directions for relocating the front lines to a lower position in the wheel well and to straighten out the bends. That seems like a temporary fix to me so I bought some longer stainless lines for the front. I think I've heard of people also buying stock brake lines for a TJ (cheaper than stainless) as they are longer than OME XJ lines. You may want to check on that though.
