One run on them, too soft for my liking. 215 lbs/in. Cut two turns off and you go to 245 lbs/in, same as an RE ZJ.

Looking for a set of SkyJacker 8" if anyones got a set they want to trade.

$120 buys these. Don't hassle me with shipping. I can meet up on the I-80 corridor (Sac to Auburn) most days of the week, or you can pick up at URF on the weekends.

My 8" skyjackers coils aren't for sale. I do like them alot though. I went from 4.5" zj coils with 2" spacers to the 8" skyjackers coils. Without my swaybars they help alleviate some of the rollover I have in turns. Hope you find some Crash. Over and out.

Sorry to hear about your coil issues. Back in the midwest i had this awesome trackbar. It was built with dom tubing and heims and had some custom bends but into it. It sucked that I had to pay for the bends, but I used the some bends for my ZJ so it worked OK. In the mud my steering was awesome. Not too tight but not too loose. But for truly awsome wheeling, having the rear leaf/front coil set up is Rubicon Ready if I've ever seen Rubicon Ready. Speaking of front coils, I really like your front bumper.

Hope this helps.

Interesting info there Sean. I had a trackbar with bends in it too. I got it from RE with my 5.5" HD lift. I liked it cause it held my axle in place. I have a hp44 now with a detroit and 4.88 gears. I wish I could turn it off sometimes though because it makes everything too easy. Especially running into trees when trying to turn.

I ran into a tree once or twice when trying to turn also. I have a hpd44 in front with a detroit but it makes things too easy. I walked through the Rubicon and Fordyce last week. Next time I'll have to do winch hill 1 instead of the bypass. It's hardcore and ate Poomba alive. I like mexican food.

I really like my rear springs, which came mostly from the junkyard. They work pretty well. I used to like my front bumper, but now I think it's too heavy.

I rarely bump into trees, I usually stop and back up.

I'm back in the midwest now and I'm going to move back to Northern California in May so I can do some more real wheeling. For now I have an '89 Toyota Tercel that is fun to drive with some 24 inch tires that have really good tread. I think it'll do pretty well in the mud, which I love. I plan to make some steel bumpers for it so I can hit trees too. Does anyone know of any companies that make some beefy steel bumpers for an 89 Tercel? It get's 35mpg also and is a lot quiter than my Jeep so I really like it. My friends and family like it too, but the back seat is kinda small. What's the weather like back there in California? It's nice here but it's really humid right now. That's okay though because it's better than the really cold winter which will come soon enough. You guys in California are lucky because you can go wheeling much later in the year and even go down to the Hammers all winter long. Can we get a trip to the Hammers together this winter, I've wheeled Fordyce and Rubicon at least once each and I feel like I have them totally mastered so I feel ready to run any of the trails at the Hammers, especially since I can lock my ARB up front after I finally figured out the air-lines.

Sounds good Brett. I would like to wheel the Hammers too sometime this winter or next when the local Sierra trails are full of deep snow. I like doing the Bowman Lake/Malakoff Diggins trail in the snow too. I'm in IL until this Sunday when I fly back. Man it has rained the last 4-5 days and is really humid and gross. I have my fill of rain until we get some of our own in Cali.

That Tercel sounds pretty awesome. It sure is a nice dd though, huh. I got my wife's car back from the repair shop $4K later, I just paid my $300 deductible though. It sure is pretty now, almost better than new, almost except for the key scratch someone put on the side. More rain is probably heading your way from the Florida hurricane remains.

Where in the Midwest are you from. Born and raised? Just wondering, it seems that most of us Cali people are from somewhere else originally.

I don't understand California stuff much, but I'm glad you guys like mud. I really do too. That's why I stay here where I was born and raised in Kentucky. It's like the midwest, but we have some trails too. I think it's probably a lot like Moab. BTW, when are they coming out with an ARB for the Tercel? I think my buddy put one in his Prelude. He did some serious crawling with it.

Quite posting and get to back to fabricating roof racks!!! :firedevil Thousands of jeepers are pensively waiting!!!

P.S. My Track Bar has bends in it, too!!!! :scared: Are all of yours painted black? If so, maybe we should start our own jeep club?!?!? Kentucky Fried Chicken is awesome!!! Where can I get some in Sacramento?

If you willing to ship. I have a set of 8" skyjackers I would trade you. I am only looking for 6" coils but if I cut two wraps off it will stiffen the spring and shorten the lift. So let me know if you will to ship. Or if you want pic of the springs.
