I know this is random but who all has one of these? I just got one a few weeks back and i like it a lot. they're really fun to mess around with.

anyways if we have enough people who have one i was thinking about maybe getting a gathering goin on and we can all just crawl in the same area together haha i think i'd be cool

Which one did you get???

I have 4. One TTC style JK with dig and 4ws, 1 fj40, 1 "mini me" XJ, and a comp style crawler with f and r dig.

Being in WA you ahould check out WARCRC (WA radio controlled rock crawlers) or here in OR ORCRC. It's actually quite popular.

If you're ever in Portland, hit me up. Mine are all pretty "scale" to the real ones except the comp crawler. It does some absolutely stupid stuff.

I have an axial ax10 i just got a jeep body that was off of a cheap rc car and a pretty mush hacked it down and i'm in the process of triangulating the rear end on it haha it's coming out pretty good
here's a pic of what i have so far on it

Sounds good. I shoot ya my number. You like straight moab/Rubi style rock crawlin or trail/rock/mud/log NW style? waterproof? I fnot balloons can fix that.

i like pretty much everything but going in mud or lots of water even though i can use a balloon to water proof it but still to me its a little sketch you know haha

I've got a venom creeper with 55t motor, R2D trans with DIG, HB white dot rovers with axial ax10 weighted wheels, stretched and lowered on custom high clearance delrin skid plate and I'm building a 2.2 scale xj like mine

My son and I both have them and have been to a handful of comps (WARCRC). It is a blast!

Mine is completely custom. His is an Axial that I have made a handful of changes to. Both do very well but since mine is not a MOA (Motor on Axle) it is difficult for me to compete effectively.

don't you have be a member of WARRC to be in comps? and i tried getting onto orcrc? but for some reason its not letting me comment on anything on there its weird

But i'm serious guys we all should plan on a date that we're all free and just go crawl somewhere i think it'd be cool idk where to go but i'm sure we can figure something out

That's a pretty sick cherokee. i wanna make one that looks jsut like mine to but i cant afford buying an xj body right now

i'm a member on rccrawler.com haha

it would be cool to be in comps but i just also liek to have fun with it and not spend money just to crawlin comps were i can crawl pretty much anywhere for free you know

You need to look into WARCRC closer. I am not on their forum much but it is reasonably active and they have comps about every month (some scalers also). Each of the comps I have been to have several classes (Supers, 2.2's, 1.8's, and beginers (no dig alowed)). It is perfect for my son and i because we can both compete in classes for us and it has been a huge learning experience for building, tuning, etc. We didn't pay for the comps when we first started (it is free) but I started donating after a little while because I wanted to support the organization. The charge is only a yearly charge to keep up all of the scoring and such.

You really should come check out an event or two, no cost and start in the beginers group and see how you do again the kids ;)
