Getting an XJ body for my SCX10! :D

Lol, the bumpers look like aftermarkets bolted to OEM.

I was wonder how many of your guys are into RC stuff. I have a couple nitro powered stadium trucks. That stuff is addictive! A 6lb truck that will go 60mph and jump 50ft on a small hill in the yard is an pretty fun toy! I love those things!

I haven't gotten into them yet...but I'm itching to pull the trigger...once my son is old enough....looks like a ton O fun. There was a track near our house a few years ago, and it looked like fun.

The main advice that I can give you is to stay away from the Nitro RC cars. If you're not EXTREMELY into it the nitro engines are more hassle than it's worth.

They make a lot of really fast trucks that are just as good but electric... They aren't as cool sounding but they're still fun!

Yeh, I'm thinking electric....how long of a run time do they get out of the current battery packs??

I agree, I raced 1/10 scale electric stadium truck/buggy for many years (87-2005) all over the east coast and then the nitro crap took over. I hate the sound, smell and unreliability of them so I got out. If you think XJ's are expensive, you've never raced RC at a competitive level, its ridiculous! I easily had $1500 tied up into a buggy or truck. I carried as many as 3 complete RTRace trucks and buggies to every race just to stay running, someone will always take you out and snap something. I raced Team Associated product and Schumacher(4x4 buggy) product exclusively, Team Losi has a great product as well.

Asphalt/carpet/dirt oval racing was a little more affordable but much more difficult.

yeah ive been hooked! I just bought the axial scx10 honcho two days ago. Im already itching to upgrade!!

I raced a Losi Adam Drake XXX-NT Sport with a CV15 engine for about two years...

I loved that little thing, it would fly! I never really got really competitive about it... I just raced at the track in Greenville on saturdays... lol
