Rausch Creek on the 26th - Greens / Blues...

is your bumper gonna fit on this? I thought something was a little different on the older body? Not sure what.
yeah it will fit. the only differance is I don't have to trim the fenders on this one.

i had a 3.5" RE superride with a 1.5" teraflex budget boost. axles are the same so no swap involved.

That wasnt for sale out on rt 340 maybe a mile or so before you get onto rt 30? If not theres one exactly like it out there, tow hooks and all!
no this one was not advertised i bought it off of the same guy i bought the other one off of.

Are you sure? What year is the new one? What year is your old one? What rears do the Jeeps have? D35 rear in the new one or 8.25? It it is a 2000 or newer, you may as well plan on swapping the entire front axle from the old one to the new one. 2000's had LPD30's, which is an inferior axle to wheel with than the HP D30 in your older Jeep.

Also, it is hard to lift the later model XJ's more than 3" in the rear without doing an SYE. The tail cone on the t-case on the later model XJ's is much shorter, so there isn't as much slip "room" for the driveshaft before it causes vibes. Unfortunately, there is only one way of finding out if its going to work...

Sorry about all the questions, but a few of us have done this more times than we can count, and these are the types of issues that come up. Crawl around on the new one really good and hose the hardware with some PB Blaster so the bolts will loosen without too much trouble.

the old one is a 90 and the new one is a 99 and the axles are the same.. 35 in the rear and hp 30 in the front. i was wondering about the sye but for now i have a 1" TC drop. i have looked at all the bolts that are normally a pain and there is absolutely no rust it looks like this thing is only 6 months old.

looks sweet! cant wait to see it when its finished..
if you end up having to do the sye. the PORC is only like 175

OK, good deal. It should come apart fairly easily then. Does the 90 have a gas tank skid? If so, plan on pulling that off too. The 99 probably doesn't have one.

i do have a garage and the 99 has all skids where as the 90 doesn't. we are gonna pretty much strip the 90 and if anyone once anything that I can't use if you are there you get first dibs.
