I was out at Rausch from Wednesday night until this afternoon helping arrange things for the comp. Friday night, Sunday night, and all day today Bruce was having us try different stuff on the course so he could see how things would work for non-comp rigs. We ran a bunch of the same lines through these as the Stock and Pro Mod groups. Here's some of the results:

Lots of fun stuff and it really makes you appreciate just how hard the comp-level stuff really is. We scored terribly.

There's a few more obstacles that other people have pics of that I'll post when available.

All the stuff shown above (including the concrete courses) is now open and available to anyone wheeling at the park, and is included with regular admission cost.

Didn't quite bump it hard enough and suffered a broken front driveshaft as a result. Oh well. Fixed it that night and ran the rest of the weekend.

Looked pretty difficult until the trees in the background started tilting more and more...

its a well known fact that east coast trees grow at an angle :D

unlike west coast trees that just burn down ;)

Yeah, I know. I didn't take them (obviously).

In lieu of finding a better photographer I just fixed them in photoshop.

Better? :D

FWIW, we just had a guy from CRAWL do a shoot at Rausch last weekend and me and a few others showed him around, we should have a few dozen pics over 4 pages in the November issue. I'd hope that he can at least shoot level photographs. :(

A few more of the tire obstacle from last weekend.

I had an accident with the drivers side of the bumper earlier in the day, now it matches. Oh well, time for another one.
