Rancho shocks at 4wp

I'm interested to know as well. The shocks I currently ride on feel like bricks and I'd much rather save for other stuff than blow 400+ on shocks. :)

rs9000'S are a fairly good shock. I have run them for years.

For that price I would take a set. What's the details on that price?

Dood...... ya gotta post a link to the sale if you're gonna ask about it...... :twak:

I can't find anything but a "$100 promo card" offer with the purchase of 4 Rancho 9000 shocks. Nothing about $40 shocks.

Sorry,

I just called the Federal store a couple of days ago asking about shocks and he said he could upgrade me to rs9000 for $40 each. No link.
I thought that sounded cheap. Hopefully the guy wasn't mistaken.

I can't make it over there until Tuesday so if it's bogus, I'll let you know.

I'm thinking he meant 40 more than the shocks you were discussing.

I just got off the phone with the 4WP in northeast Denver and they said that there was a promotion on Rancho RS9000's but not anywhere near the $40 mark. He quoted me at $94 each. For $90, you can get some brand new Bilstein 5125's ($86 each). /shrug

Since this is my thread, I feel I should shed some light on what I found out.
I originally called the Federal store and spoke with Ernie, I asked about shocks and told him what I had. He said he had some Rancho 9000 gas shocks that he would give me for $40 each. He may have mispoken or whatever because when I went in to get them they only had the rears and they were not $40. He remembered speaking to me and I ended up leaving with the Ranchos for the rear for $40 each and a set of Procomp gas shocks for the front, also for $40 each.
He said the Ranchos are usually around $85 or so but as I said he remembered quoting me $40. If I had gotten there sooner, I would have been able to get the fronts also.

So, I am going to run the Procomps on the front and stash the Ranchos until I can pop for the two Rancho fronts at $85 each and then install them all at the same time.

I don't know if they were just trying to dump some inventory the day I called or if he made a mistake. Either way they took care of me and I will go back for the others when I get the cash.

Now on with the electrical gremlins I have! FAWK!

That is all.
