subject says all. I would like to have another alternator for my 2001 to try to rebuild it myself, and don't want downtime (I have to park on the street.)
Difficulty: there's no tag on my alternator and nobody seems to sell a 124A alternator which is what my build sheet says I have. but if you have a 2001 4.0 parts vehicle with an alternator in it, as long as it's a rebuildable core, I'd love to have it.
No, I don't have any junkyards around. I sent my 2000 to one and they'd scrapped it within 3 months which hurts because it had tons of parts I would have bought from them - not only the alternator but the rebuilt and balanced driveshafts, new shocks, front skid, etc. etc. etc.
