Everybody around ATL stay dry today? Hope nobody had any flooding in their houses.

We had some flooding at work, couple offices and the kennel downstairs took on water. Got some extra hours cleaning up that nonsense, then came home to our river well over its banks, the fence broken thru in a few places, and a bunch of trees down. Of course a decent sized one fell across the driveway so it was just begging to be crawled. I've gotta say that might be the most rain/runoff I've ever seen.

My fiances brother lives in Chattanooga. Their basement got 4' of floodwater; totaled the car, AC/heat unit, washer/dryer, etc.

It was crazy around here yesterday. Went for a ride to get dinner and saw areas that were really deep in water that were normally high and dry.

thats why im glad i live at the top of a hill, all my water drains off i believe parts of western GA and eastern AL got up to 12" of rain in the last 24 hours... thats just crazy!

lol it was so bad around here schools closed down today... funny thing is its bright and sunny today

yeh i heard of some schools closing, that had been flooded overnight, so they could clean up all the water and mess.
