questions about building a jeep speed

he doesn't know any better Matt ;)

Speedbump, a good number (if not almost all) of the jeepspeed teams run short arms with drop brackets.

i just read thru the ecors rule book (this is where your going, right?) it says long arms are ok, and the class system doesnt mention it, so my guess is maint. costs?

the confusion starts cause you call it a jeepspeed. i know and im used to people calling any go-fast cherokee a jeepspeed, weather it races or not, im not used to you ecors guys calling it a jeepspeed, when in reallity, it's compltely differant. ive seen some vids of an ecor's race, that aint no jeepspeed! thats rock racing without the huge rocks.

well while im still in cali im hoping to do something that resembles jeep speed and when i find my way to nc cause the military decides to send me there then hopefully ill find something similar im not trying to really build a competetive rig im looking to build something that resembles what people are running inside races and all that so if i do decide to race or try and race then i have the choice of putting more money in and ive already worked my way to there i dont know where im gunna be moving positively so im gunna build my jeep for the conditions out here so if i do stay out here i have another 4 years of getting fmailiar with the jeepspeed world and hopefully trying to compete someday. ive looked around and i havent really found too much info on jeepspeed classes and what u can and cant run in certain class i.e. if there is a lower class for people who canbt afford to spends loads of money on there jeep can u run long arms or are u limited to short arms
