You guys should look into the predictions made by webbot. It is predicting the "big one" in the time frame of December 11th-18th. This could very well be the precursor, based on shows I've watched like Mega Disasters and my own web research that I've done. From what I've seen and read you guys are way overdue for another "big one," and the west coast in general. Normally, I wouldn't give a damn since I live in Tennessee, but I have been paying close attention to earthquake activity the last few months. I leave for Seattle next Saturday(in the time frame) which is my first flight ever, and first trip out west. Earthquake/geological has skyrocketed all over the world in the last few months. I live not too far from the New Madrid fault here in TN, which is the equivalent of the east coast San Andreas. We are WAY WAY overdue for a massive earthquake. Lots of strange animal behavior being reported in the southeast and midwest. Wells are drying up in Arkansas in the vicinity of the New Madrid. Something is up....

There are a couple of signs you guys should look for when the "big one" might be coming. Sudden drops and extreme rises in water levels such as wells. Strange animal behavior. Have you guys noticed anything of the kind?

Lots of other stuff too. I have a compiled list of earthquake signs based on locals and legends...mostly Farmer's Almanac type stuff. Let me know if you guys wanna know anything.

As you can see below, the Ring of Fire is extremely active right now.

Beachfront property, here I come!:D

Just promise me this. You guys gotta be listening to Aenema by Tool if the big one starts happening.

Some say a comet will fall from the sky.
Followed by meteor showers and tidal waves.
Followed by faultlines that cannot sit still.
Followed by millions of dumbfounded dipsh*ts.
Some say the end is near.
Some say we'll see armageddon soon.
I certainly hope we will
I sure could use a vacation from this
stupid sh*t, silly sh*t, stupid sh*t...
One great big festering neon distraction,
I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied.

The first website is out of date on earthquake information although its a nice looking site.

Quakes happen all the time out here and its just something we live with and dont get too freaked out about. As long as there are numerous moderate quakes, it makes me feel better since it relieves pressure on the fault lines and crust. Since you live in TN, you should be concerned with the New Madrid fault line that hasnt had a "big one" for way too long. Since you live in the midwest, do you remember Dr Norman Brown? He predicted an earthquake of atleast 6+ magnitude for December 4th of 1990 (IIRC) and everyone flipped out scared buying all the water, supplies, etc and the stores couldnt keep up with the demand. Nothing happened and Dr brown disappeared off the face of the earth.

OMFG what a tard. :roflmao:

LOL... My thoughts exactly!!!

I understand though. People back east don't realize how common place quakes are for us, quakes to us are like tornadoes to them. My family is all out in Michigan, so everytime we have an earthquake or a fire everyone there thinks I'm right in the middle of it.

I felt it up here in phelan while I was readin NAWBA!!!!

Did he "fall" into a fault?

Jester - They've been predicting "the big one" for the past fifty years. Earthquakes happen, just have your shit together and be ready and they aren't much to fear.
