Putting the new axels in this weekend

Like Jess said, the d44 mounts are the same as the d35 mounts and the 8.25 mounts. I cut them off to use the mounts from the ube kit I got from TnT that look similar to the ones in the pics above.

Great Rob, just checking about the design of the mounts. I am such a newbie. Thank you all for your help!
You have my address Rob just let me know how to get $$$$ to you.

Brown truck Santa is on his way with a box for you Tim. :D

Putting in my compressor for the lockers. I am thinking to put it on the passenger side fire wall. Seems logical place to me.

Needed to order two solenoids, and front and rear switches too.

I put mine inside in the drivers rear upper quarter panel. I made a bracket out of the stock spare tire mount. Worked out well and very quick to remove.

It is also out of the dust and other elements. A lot of people put them under the hood, you shouldn't have an issue there.

also keep some spare air line and get a few slip lock fittings. It will make a line repair a 2 minute ordeal.

I've got one of the mini ARB compressors for mine and it fit just right under the rear seat on the drivers side. I had ABS so I already had holes with rubber grommets thru the floor for the wheel sensor wires and the ARB line fit into that perfectly. :D

Josh and Rob...Did the wiring harness that came with the compressor still reach or did you have to add wire to the harness? Also I got braded hoses because the thing I didn't like about ARB is that the lines break. I wanted a rear Detroit and front e locker. I am happy that I have them because everyone told they are the best.
Anyone have experience with the breaded hoses for the lockers?

Rob... Can you still put down the seat in the back and still have enough room for the compressor? Is there enough air flow?

With the mini there was plenty of room and I've never had an issue with the air flow. I can still have the seats up or down. I mounted the compressor to the vertical metal portion at the front of the under-seat area and angled slightly to keep it from touching the floor boards. I'm not sure a standard ARB compressor would fit in there tho.

Thanks guys... I too have a mini and I am feeling to put it under the seat because the cargo area tens to get full fast when I camp.

Fyi, mine is inside the quarter panel. There is a lot of room behind the plastic panel. Not in the cargo area, you will never know its there until it turns on. I routed my air line under the seat with 2 90° push lock fittings and a bung. Turned out real slick.

Took the new axel out for a test drive and they did well. Love the full disc breaks I have now. Just a little grinding at 40 to 50 mph when I accelerate or take my foot off the gas to slow down. I cant get a grip on what it could be.\\\\\Any ideas?
