Property pictures Murphy, NC

Is there anyone in or near Murphy, NC that would be willing to go take some pictures of a piece of land and then e-mail them to me?

I bought a motorcycle out of a little old lady's garage last week down here and she happened to tell me she has 8+ acres in Murphy she may want to sell.

I cannot get an exact address as I do not believe one exists (she says it doesn't but I tried other avenues and came up empty).

After looking it up on the CHerokee Co tax assessor's site...then looking at Mapquest I came up with [1-458] Willscott Mountain Road, Murphy, NC. It should fall somewhere in that address range and since it is undeveloped property may actually be comprised of several of those 'street numbers'...but 326 seemed to be close.

I'd would greatly appreciate it if anyone in the area can do this for us over the next few days or so.

I will owe ya a drink or if you come to the crawl this year we will cook ya some grub! (not grubs...food silly)

Ironmanfab im pretty sure is in Hayesville which is about 25 minutes from Murphy. im about an hour and a half from murphy but i know i cant get out there until this next coming weekend.

If you want exact info, get the parcel number from her and order a title search from a local title company. In the end, the $$ you spend will help you establish clean title.

I found it on the tax assessor's site for Cherokee Co and was able to view it with google maps to a degree. It's not quite what we're looking for but I still wanted to see some actual pics if possible. No rush or even a big deal.

We're probably wanting something a little flatter...or with at least one good flat area plus some water on it...lake, river, stream, and/or spring. Plus this a real odd shaped piece of land and I think it also has big transmission lines running through it.

Just thinking ahead for when the kids are out of school...we have 12 years or so to really look but happened upon this so we figured we'd take a look.

If no one else chimes in let me know. I have a friend that has some property in Murphy that might be willing to go by there and snap some pictures. Andy aka: Ironman4x4 Fab is in Hayesville, NC about 25 min away. He might be willing also. IF I ever go see him like I plan to I'll do it. But right now that is a big if....

I appreciate it Glen. I don't think the property is going anywhere real fast so if it happens cool if not no biggie.

We're looking but not ready to settle on anything yet.
