PROPER TORQUE LUG NUTS

Your right about 75 foot pounds being recommended, I re torque (90-100 foot pounds) after a week or so of driving, the rims have a tendency to seat a little and some lugs can loosen. The main thing is to tighten in a cross pattern and to get the lugs tightened evenly to help avoid any chance of the disc or drum warping. I even tighten them in two stages, to help avoid warp (a habit left over from my Volkswagen days).
