I've only been through Hope Valley once, after running DV all the way through and coming out at Blue Lakes (back when we could legally do that). I drove back around to Hermit Valley through Markleeville. It was the only time I've been through there but I still remember those incredible views as you drive out Blue Lakes Road. It really is a very scenic valley.

Dang...the one weekend im not in tahoe!!

Went wheeling to Buck Lake/Ellis Peak this weekend. Destroyed a u-joint in the process and while pressing in the last cap the needles dislodged and jammed in the cap. Had to limp out in fwd.

That sucks. I am going to rebuild my rear ds before SierraFest and new spare u bolt straps and u joints are on the list

I always carry 2 spare DS...thats about my only spare parts now...

I have to see if the stock front ds is compatible with my rear, then I can just go to pick n pull and grab two

I did, it was new in box :/. I just must have not aligned the cup properly before pressing. Then trying to get the cup back out i broke my c clamp
