Project New Gen Comanche

I can deal with a bad paint job Chit my eyes are bad as it is I could blame it on the light or my eyes or color blindness. If it's in good shape still a great rig. I LOVE IT! is this one going up on the sale block?

what size tires lift more pics please.

is there a link to the old build you did on this or was this part of his build up too leading to the crap paint job?

wow I like that. the bed rails are cool that's just a cool build up he did. thanks for the link.

Yeah I'd kill for another set of those bed caps/rails. The guy - Fessybuilt - did a really nice job on them.

wow took me a few hours to look and read all the stuff that went down that dude is a dirtbag crack head. I don't know if I could have handled it with out some jail time.
That rig is sick. I like how a lot of guys do the new grill and dash but he did such a good job with all stock that I wouldn't do it any other way than how he did it.

Hey guys, long time no see... LOL

I'm toying with building a 97+ MJ and was wondering if you still had the fire damaged one in your herd Yella because as you said, that's a perfect candidate for the update.

Shoot me a PM with a price if you're interested.

Oh, and there's a WJ down here in the UPAP yard if you still need WJ stuff

Joe

PM sent Joe.

Probably should change the title of this thread to Yella's home for misfit Comanches.....

#8 followed me home today. :banghead:

'87 with rare-er options of floor shifted automatic and power windows/locks. It's a 4.0 with rod knock, A/C, full skid package, 8.25 rear axle swapped in, front disco lock kit, decent 32" KM2's on aluminum mods, roll bar (non factory), bucket seats.

Nice solid floors. Just some bubbly surface rust in areas. Paint is OEM and crap. Tail gate has seen it's share of abuse. Pretty damn straight otherwise.

I've got an engine for it. Get that installed, clean it up, fix some busted stuff and send her off to a new owner. Would make a great trail rig.

3" lift and 32's are just perfect on these - love how it looks. Shoulda been how they were done from the factory.

I had that bought, worked out the deal Sunday afternoon was gonna be there at 530 Monday and that little perckerwood of a guy Josh sold it out from under me...all over a $100.00 difference. he must have called me when you were loading it up saying it was sold. Oh well.

Be sure to fix those rear spring perches, those shackles are rubbing the frame mount pretty good.

lol. undercut by a fellow chapter member! son of a...

I ain't mad that Troy got it, I am mad that people don't honor their word any longer. Flipping stupid young kid.
If you want your money back Troy I'll hit me up.

Yikes. I had no idea rockfrog. Seller said he'd had no other interest or offers and needed cash in hand ASAP so he could get another vehicle. Told him that since I had to come from Littleton, I'd only be a buyer if he'd agree to not sell it out from under me - as in make me drive up there only to find out someone got there before I did. He upheld his agreement with me anyway.

Hit me up back-channel if you wanna discuss buying me out..... I won't break it off too bad... :D I spent the afternoon cleaning it all up for ya.

That was me.. What're ya driving? I'll keep an eye out

I drive a really sexy, green, dirty, Subaru Impreza Outback Sport. Troy constantly ****in' brow beats me with messages, PM's, hand written letters, and emails about wanting to buy it and I'm like get over it dude. Says he finds the odor from the waders to be intoxicating. I don't know. I keep waiting for a low flying plane to do some sky writing some day. It's really pretty pathetic.

........And then he awakens after each Saturday he wastes away because of his "crack, snack and a snooze" addiction...... with only a semi-cool dream story.

Got great news last month that Fessybuilt is back in business.....somewhat. Jarrod is taking on fab work part time and made me 2 sets of bed rail protectors, one short bed, one long bed. Bob (buffalob) had these made for his truck some time ago right as Jarrod had to move and settle some family business....wanted some for my rigs ever since.

I'll probably take the pointy part off the ends though. He includes stainless panhead hardware as well.

Wanna find out if Jarrod will build you a set? Give him a shout: 720-771-7861 www.FessyBuilt.com

Not sure if he'll be doing bumpers yet, but he mentioned doing MJ sliders again. Should be pics on his website.
