Well I found me another one. Could and really dident want to spend the money on a TJ, dident feel like wheeling 10 grand or more of a jeep and breaking shit. So I found this one. 2000 with only 73k miles on it !!!! :D need new ball joints at all 4 corners, and tires. But thats it. Was a steal!

Will stay stock till march. Then gets HP44 front (Already have) 44 or narowed 60 rear, 37's, 5.13's, rock hard cage this time. Will be ready by next season :D

sweet. I love doing rear ball joints. since yours needs them at all 4 corners I would gladly come help.

37s suck and so do bolt in roll cages.

Lol you are as bad as me. Rear ball joints must suck :D (i know what you meant)

why a bolt in cage??

OMG........ toss that hideous roof rack....... :puke:

Welcome back to the shameless and frameless........ :D

If you do go with that Rock Hard cage.... do yourself a HUGE favor and line the insides of the flat plates on the sides of the dash with felt. Glue the felt to the dash or the plates to keep the stuff from working back out. Those plates squeak against the plastic like a sumbitch. I like my Rock Hard cage and for the slow-roll wheeling would bring, they'll do just fine. Lots of good head and leg room for a DD too.

Nice looking rig! How many dents is it going to take before the sawzall comes out?

Then get your little ass over here and help me do them!

You know what else sucks?................. subi drivers :D

Hey!!! I resemble that last remark. Next thing you know you'll be talking sh!t about fish slime. Watch it.

Mmmmmm, fish slime. It's been over 3 months since I've felt the cold gooeiness of slime. Which reminds me that my fishing license expires this Sunday.

If smelling like fish slime is wrong then I don't wanna be right.

Alot for me to update! Both front and rear ends are done. Middle frame stiffeners have been welded on. Rear end of the jeep has been lifted and is almost finished. Ran into alot of snage with swapping the t-case and installing the T&T belly skid. Could not for the love of god get the last nut off the t-case to drop the old 242! Wrench would hit the exaust and or the tranny. Finaly was about to get it free. Then ran into alot of problems swapping the cases. The speedo dident mat up So I had to source one off anoither 231 since mine dident come with one. The sensor that says your in 4wd dosent mat up eather, so Looks like Ill be cutting and re-wiring on it to make it work. Also the yoke off the 242 dident work on the 231, so I had to source a yoke. That took about a day alone lol. Then when we were drilling the holes for the crossmember, we found out that they filled the frame after the jeep got hit and totaled. My buddy works for a body shop and said they do it once a car has been wrecked. They fill the frame with this foam like stuff that expands and then hardens and makes the frame stiffer. Well that was a PITA to drill 3/4" holes all the way threw. Finaly got all 6 holes drilled but or the price of my buddy almost loosing a wrist! Rear is all set under its own weight and we are wating on the driveshaft to get finishe, which should be today. We start the front end tomorrow!

Onto the pics!!

On the rear nothing hangs below the tubes, between the 1" T&T UBE kit, 1.5" shackle and HD offroad relocating boxes I came out to roughly 5.5" lift in the rear, and she has a really nice shackle angle and flat springs. She comes out to be 81" wide, and 74.5" to top of the roof! Sounds like a good LCG to me! Not going to get the 107 wheel base like I wanted. shooting or 103-105 now with front.

pivot head, ratcheting 9/16's is the best tool ever made for pulling off the tcase. Makes getting that crappy bolt on the pass side a breeze.
Why didn't you mount up the ubolt eliminators to push the rear back 1" or 1-1/2"?
105" WB was nice on the 44/9 and 35's ( I know the mtr's are 37's but those old style are closer to 35" than 37")

We couldent even get that in there because of the exaust. I did push it back about 1" I was thinking the blazer leafs were going to stretch me even more, but that dident go a much as I though once I got it set down and all. But still 1" is better then nothing, plus my wheel is farther back in the well verse other lefs that move the center pin forward!

They measure out about 36" and thats on a 8" rim. My brother new style 35" mtr only measured 34" when they were brand new. So did my treps
