Thanks everyone!! The advise and comments were helpfull !!

I took it on it's first loaded test drive today, I'm really happy with how it did.

It seems to have about the same power as when it was a MH, maybe a little less, but it has a lot less sway and body roll, it used to kind of float over bumps and kind of dip forward and backwards as the suspension cycled, you could tell it was real top heavy. Now it feels real good, no excessive sway. I was surprised how well it did on corners.

Steering felt real good too, I had it on the highway for short distance and up to 60mph, felt real good and tight and I don't have any feeling like the front end is too light.

You can tell it has a load on it for sure, but it doesn't seem like an excessive or top heavy load at all.

Here's how I tied it down

I re-did some of the metal work around the tire pockets, as a couple of people suggested. I wanted the tires to set down on something so that they wouldn't become wedged in, so I raised the lower side bar and put it at the correct height so that after adding a couple more support bars, I could store the ramps under the tires and have the tires bottom out on the ramps.

It does make it a little tricky getting the XJ loaded, I have to park it in just the right spot to be able to remove those ramps and store them under the tires

This morning I got it all painted, I have two very sore trigger fingers now
