Project: Hellride. A 1978 J-10

I was talking about the trees sans leaves, meaning it's winter. I get really bad seasonal depression and the picture made me cryzors. That's robot cry for you IDIOTS out there. Just a bunch of oil pours from my eyes and I make a lot of low beeping sounds for a while. It's pretty sweet.

This may be the funniest thing you've ever posted.

heres a picture of some levers.

the Shift bank is made from one piece of 1/8" plate, just bent up into shape, for the pivot point, I have a half inch bolt with some half inch spacers from lowes around them, separated by nylon washers. The outer diameter of the half inch sleeves was 5/8" so i bought some 5/8" spacers to mount the levers to. It required a little bit of a round file to get the inside diameter of the 5/8" spacers large enough for smooth operation, but they are nice and tight, with virtually no friction. I will lube them prior to final assembly.

the half inch spacers are tightened down so they cannot pivot, while the 5/8" spacers have the ends ground down so there is a tiny bit of free play between them and the washers.

I'm pretty happy with how it came out. I just wonder If I'm going to like the way I have the levers oriented. (might have wanted the twinstick outputs to be in line with eachother) Maybe I'm just overthinking it.

Made the levers all in line for street driving. Left lever is for the crawl box, middle is for front output, right is for rear output. Just have to get some knobs, then adjust the height of the levers once they are in the truck.

i dont see how you and colin do it, i get confused enough at times with 2 levers

neither of us have even used our levers yet.

colin has his 241 shifted by a 9/16" wrench and his 205 is just stuck in low range.

mine are sitting on a bench in my garage.

i got an engine
