I drooled on my keyboard a little....very nice!
it looks like your motor has a big orange penis!
Question: If your jeep is hot and you decide to remove the radiator cap where will the coolant go? It looks like it'll go right onto your driver's seat...
But the whole point of a radiator cap is it has a spring relief. If the pressure ever builds up too much, it blows out of the fitting on the neck, which will have a hose routing it down and out the rear of the jeep.
i was overheating in tennessee after i swapped a water pump in a parking lot in VA going xcountry bc there was still a little air left in the system. ok, no problem, it was a 75% water mix anyway and we had plenty of spare fluids so i popped the hood and twisted the cap to let the air out. the relief spring worked fine for about 45 seconds until it blew off and the radiator old faithfulled all over I78.
those springs and lev-r-vent caps do work, but better safe than sorry. 250F coolant on your neck would suck.
i think you might get toasty with the radiator that close to you.
perfect for winter wheeling
