Looks friggin awesome

I can't wait to see it outside the tent.

Looks awesome Colin.

Is the axle centered? Maybe it is the lean, but in the first pick it looks like it is over to the driver side a little.

Stop making progress, I want you to trailer me down to NACfest.

I wouldnt wanna trust that trailer all the way down/back again. That thing is gunna need some attention soon; new axle assembles, new tires, maybe new springs even. We dont wanna be stopping at Tractor Supply again in the middle of NY and PA to get new parts.

I'm aware of that. I would definitely help him put that on when it comes down to that, either way, but if he plans on trailering himself down he would need to do it.

I've already discussed it with him, I'm sure he'll get his stuff down, but I enjoy bugging the crap out of him.

Thanks Mark!

It wasn't double checked, but pretty close to it. I haven't dialed everything in yet.

:D

Looks real good. Cant wait to see it moving.

Thanks!

It's getting attention before NACfest, don't worry.

New 10k axles are in the plans.

On that note...the rear is down on the ground. I really have to thank Adam for donating his time AGAIN on Saturday helping me get a lot of stuff done (painting, fender trimming, shifting stuff around, etc.). He even came by today for a few minutes to drop off the YJ boomerang shackles to me

Onto the pics...

Shackle angle with minimal weight in the back. It goes a bit further and evens out the ride height with 200 lbs in the back. The DOM sleeve will be braced back to the bumper in the front as well.

Pinion angle. 0.5-1º difference between pinion and driveshaft to account for wrap during acceleration. From center of u-joint cap to center of u-joint cap the driveshaft is ~51" long

Perches are tacked on. Going to get shock mounts front/rear going next weekend.

I can have a maximum of 16" collapsed up front (gives me 4" of uptravel) and 17" out back gives me 5" of uptravel. Probably going with 7100s 360/80 up front and 5150s 255/70 out back.
