hey idiots, did u know colins jeep has an air compressor

I love being called an idiot by a man that doesn't even take the time to spell the three letter word 'you' and hit the period button at the end of a sentence.:gee:

Haven't spent too much time working on this. Spent most of the long holiday weekend cleaning/organizing the garage since now my sister is working on the '70 duster in there so we share workspace, and I had to organize my new toolbox (present from my parents for xmas).

A few weeks ago I burnt up the MS ECU and DB37 plug. Problem ended up being that when I turned my kill switch on, I was feeding the injectors 12V without the MS ECU being on. Since the injector drivers "float" to ground, it pulled a huge current through the low amp rated pins of the DB37 and traces in the PCB. Had to order a new PCB but I was able to reuse the case and daughterboard (CPU).

Also figured out that a long time ago when I calculated my flow rates for the injectors, I thought I needed 5.7 (350) injectors. Months later when I installed all the injectors, I thought I had originally ordered 5.0 (305) injectors. So I'm basically running 3 of each. I have new 305 injectors on the way so I'll actually be using the correct injectors this time around. This explains the rich condition that I was having issues with.

I did get to work on the cable shifters this weekend a bit. NP241 shifter is all done, just needs finish welding. NP205 side bracket is a TTF bracket that I modified to clear my seat frame and sight level. Just need to make a bulkhead bracket for the NP205 on the console side, then I can drop both t-cases and grind out the adapter for the shift rail sleeves on the NP205. Also need to figure out why I have too much end play on the front output on the NP205, and why the NP241 pops out of low.

I finished all the shifters and figured out why both cases were popping out of gear. I forgot a snap ring on the input shaft on the 241 so the whole planetary set was sliding back and forth.

On the NP205 I never noticed the factory front drive shift rail has only a slight ramped detent for low range. I fixed that and put a new front output bearing in it since the original had slight play.

Before - low range detent on left

After - fixed low range detent on right

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good holeshot.

P.S. Don't do holeshots on Christmas Eve as your neighbors WILL hate you.

I need to remake my switch panel, maybe raise it up a bit, since the cables are in the way of some of the wiring now. Also going to finish the cover that goes over the upper part of the console. I did finish the cable shifters and they work mint.

I'm going to drop the oil pan to fix the stupid leaky drain bung that Milodon ****ed up on and I didn't fix properly. At the same time I'm going to add another bung for an oil temp sensor.

Should have a dash done sometime in January I hope.
