Project Downward Spiral

awesome deal Bill...Angel ought to be able to get some good use out of it!! Like I said before, don't hesitate if you'd like help and/or want to borrow my FSM :)

Congratulations man!

Seeing as how you helped with my gears, the least I could do is help you with a head / head gasket.

All the other things are just easy maintenance...

Looks good Bill, I'm sure Angel will be much happier with that Jeep than a certain red 2 door that was looked at a few months ago...

I know. This is in great shape, it has it's issues, but I can sort them all out.

HAHA! Nice!
:roflmao:
That seriously makes me laugh everytime.

My face is priceless...:D
It is! I'll give you a call if I need a hand, but the new owner also said she's now willing to get her hands dirty. I knew she would come around. :D

I'm still waiting patiently for Mia :eeks1:

Bill, if your jeep is not done by the time I start attacking my HP60, I'll be very angry with you. And you wouldn't like me when I'm angry!

Now that her jeep is finished, I demand more progress on your cage.

Friends don't let friends sleep unless their Jeep is wheelable.

:D
HAHA! It ain't done yet! Still a bunch of work to go, a few more nights and a weekend should do the trick.
Dude you look like Mclovin!
Almost, he does!

Ross, I'm not afraid. :)
Mine's a long time coming before it rolls out of the garage. :(

Well as much as it pains me to say it this project will have to take the back burner for at least another weekend.
We picked up another new toy for my lady. :D

It needs some work, but it should end up being a good DD for her.
On the list:
- Figure out the cylinder head issue and repair it (hopefully just the gasket)
- Both front u-joints need replacing
- Rear brakes need replacing
- Driver's window mechanism needs work
- Flashers cause fuse to blow, got to fix that
Wanna sell those tail lights?

Wanna sell those tail lights?
She likes them, but she might be convinced if the price is right! :)
I have no idea what they are worth, I've only ever seen them in one other place before and it was in a picture.

don't ask why, but I read that and laughed. ...please excuse my odd sense of humor
:D

They're ebay tail lights that they don't make anymore. THey're only worth about a buck. I'll give you 2 and a stock set :D
We'll keep them for that! :D

In other news, some shiny new parts arrived recently.
35spline D60 Lockright, AJ's bumper mounts, Spicer U-joints (two of which are just 760x's for the woman's ride), and the seals, shims, and slingers I was missing to put the rest of the front back together.
