Hoping to get all of it done in time to bring it to CO Fest. But it's running, driving and looking much better I think! I kinda like the old-school look of it. It's calling for one of those winch mount/brush guards isn't it?

Special thanks to DJ for all the wrenchin', JohnJohn for those garage sale parts he brought to me, Daniel for the hook-up on the JKS discos, and all you guys that bought parts/XJ's from me! :D

Honorable mention goes to Craigslist..... without it, I'd be bored! :D

Oh and yes Led.... those are MTR's...... :D

Gears are nothin. Lol on my HP44 ExNews4XJ and I started at 10PM and finished at 6AM. It was a long night, but well worth it! I actually did it because I was too cheap to rent the case-spreader for more than 1 day at $25/day.

I dunno, those rockers look awful purdy. Are rocker guards too new, what about nerf bars? LOL

I just don't know enough about XJs to understand what "old school" is. 8-track players were extinct before these were even drawings. Whatdya mean by "old school"? :dunno:

I have rock rails for it, just weren't on for the pic. Putting them on today as a matter of fact.

:D

ya wasn't this going to be a DD for you? or was that one of the other last ones.

Nope, I needed those 2" spacers for the 4.5 RE springs I had to go with the 5.5 Superlift rear leafs. I have $165 into this lift kit..... :D

Originally, this was gonna be a "flipper" XJ.... put an engine in it, clean it up and sell it....... but it's too damn nice and my yellow one is just this side of becoming a buggy..... so it may be a keeper.

We'll know more after CO Fest. Runs hot for some reason......... :dunno: But it's got A/C, soft seats, 4 doors and better sound proofing. And a working stereo thanks to DJ so it will certainly make the wife much happier on the trail......

so say around 200 for the lift what about tires and rims or I take it you had those just laying around. THen what 500 for the jeep and how much for the motor swap did you use the one you had rebuilt or rebuild another one for it? So you have this after skid protection a pretty cheep jeep for wheeling with teh family for around 2,000 bucks. Man what was I thinking buying knew?
