I just called the Ranger station. Small portions are closed due to construction, but most of it is open for wheeling. I will be there by 11 today and hope to see some of you there (I'll bring my strap for ya

We got there at 10:30 and immediately got stuck in the deep mud. I tried to stay to the left but I ended up slipping right and was buried up to the axles. Thanks to Conner and Sean, I was pulled from the muck and enjoyed the rest of the day.
I'm not proud. I'll post a pic of me getting yanked free anytime.
Despite mud caked BFG KM2's, my Spartan locker made short work of this hill.
Quick advice. If you wheel, make sure you have proper tow points. This non-
guy didn't.

This shot reminds me of wildebeests at the last watering hole.
My wife enjoyed her turn at the wheel.

No problem. That mud was deeeeep, and yes, it was ironic that I was the one needing the strap. Thanks for lending a hand.

We returned from PC with only minor damage to report. Much work is being done to the 4x4 section and only a small section was open this time. It is looking good and I anticipate some great wheeling there in the Fall.
