There is only two wires going to the motor, one for up and one for down. The window switch is a double switch. You´d probably be better off trying a rear window switch, to test with.
Most times when the window sticks, it´s a twisted, loose or worn out window runner. Sometimes the rubber at the door (top) opening pops off and gets stuck.
Another sore spot to check is where the two wires go into the window motor, little black plastic box. Vibration wears through the wire there, it will eventually break and fall off, there may only be a few strands of wire holding the wire together (low current flow). If your wire is frayed there, I can talk you through the fix. You will probably need a flashlight and mirror to check it out. Cutting the plastic at the access opening (on three sides) then tapeing with heating duct tape, works better than trying to remove the plastic wind break. replaceing the motor connections, takes an hour or so, but a whole lot cheaper than a replacement motor.
While your in the door, glue down the runner felt (contact cement) dry lube the runner and gease (chain oil) the coil (chain) inside the housing.
