Power Draw???

The PO installed a push button start - it seems the column only works sometimes. Turn the key forward and if it doesn't crank, press the button. This has me thinking the column is the source of my power draw. :twak:

Batter tests fine and holds a charge in between runs here and there, but if the Jeep sits overnight, the battery gets drained. Battery also will get a healthy charge from the alt while running around.

So - any known column wiring woes?

Odds are it's the ignition switch on the bottom of the column.

It's a fun one, little word to the wise, make sure you push it down as far towards the firewall that you possibly can when you go to put things back together, also put a little dab of blue loctite on the threads on the bolts. I've had mine work back loose twice.

Did some playing around today... looks like the column issue I thought I had is actually the NSS acting up. That would lead me to having a parasitic draw.
