Power Door Locks and Remote Entry

Moderators, move this if necessary. Not sure where else to put it.

I put new interior front door panels in my 1996 ZJ. It is plug and play and I tested all the locks, windows, power mirrors before buttoning it all up. It all worked fine.

Now, my remote will not unlock the doors...even the tailgate won't unlock.

I put new batteries in the remote and nada...

Any reason that swapping a door panel or two would cause a remote to stop working?
