I just got a hard top for my wife's scout but it's in Auburn, IL soon to be in (Imperial) St Louis, MO. I'm trying to get it as far south as possible IF possible...I'm just south of Ocala, FL.

I know it's along shot with something this size but if anyone can help to get it further south I'd appreciate it and can give some gas money if need be.

dims are 8' long x 62" wide and 18-24" tall. Probably weighs around 200#

Again I know it's a long shot but I figured I'd ask on our chapter forum and then maybe on the midwest forum soon. I may try to just squeeze the turnips for the diesel money it will cost me to go get it..and see some family but it's $500 I don't have right now!!

did you post up in the mwc? i have to be in indiana in a few weekends to pick up a dana 44....if i have to i can tow a utility trailer behind my car and get it to tn for you for gas money and a cheeseburger. If your not on a time crunch i can get it to atlanta after that, i can always use an excuse to go visit friends in the ATL

get it to IN and i can try and help out

Where in Indiana? If someone can get it from Auburn, IL to where you will be in IN that works for me.

I don't have anyone that can.

Let me post it there to see if anyone can get it from the seller...or from my uncle in St Louis to Columbus, IN.

If so I'd even be willing to meet you in Chattanooga some time before Christmas....I could do Chattanooga and back home in a one day trip and less than 2 tanks of diesel for myself. I would gladly give you some fuel money and if time allows for both of us buy you a cheesburger in person.

I posted on MWC but I figure with Turkey Day it may take a couple days for someone to respond...if anyone can even do it.

Thanks everyone...I'm still waiting for a response in the MWC. So far no one has replied so we'll see what happens.

So far it looks like my uncle wil take it from Auburn, IL to St Louis and then I may have to go get it.

My wife says we shold just leave it there as long as we can but I'm impatient and despite the fact she drives it I hate the soft top!!

Jesus, that's a hell of a drive for a hard top.

I'm sure with some patience it'll make it's way down here...

That's what my wife said. But I have none! LOL Yeah it's a drive...but I could see family...that'd be a good excuse right? Plus I am having a White Castle deficiency...the frozen ones in the store down here just aren't the same.

lol I've had a real white castle burger once. I will never have another.

It's an aquired taste...and I will admit they don't make them as good as they did 20 years ago...but 20 white castles and a coke...then over to Ted Drewes for a concrete malt...HEAVEN!!

Well my wife swapped some shifts at the hospistal and cashed in some PTO so now we are just going to go ourselves. We'll be able to visit family AND get the top! Yay!

LOL

Sweet!

It will be a good shakedown run for my '95 dodge. I've put 5000 miles on it since we've had it but nowhere near 2000 miles in one shot (round trip). So hopefully it will run well.

Sounds like an adventure! Be sure to save up for the Crawl in Harlan... its well worth the trip.

God willing we will be there.

Need a trailer for the MJ and fuel money to get there...it's definitely possible.
