poss. moving to sw missouri area (branson or springfield)

Hey everyone,

any advice on moving to the area what to avoid, where to wheel at? I got a really good job offer in a dealership in Branson. Let me know if you have any info on the area...I hear its great! Thanks

I don't know squat about the schools but I do know that about 30 miles outside of Springfield there is a nice offroa park. You have Disney Ok that is a couple hours away KSRocksPark which would be a little farther but worth it. There is Tuttle creek in Manhatten KS about 3 or 4 hours away I would guess. You've got parks in Arkansas to wheel at. If you're willing to drive then there are some nice places to wheel.

Just south of Springfield is a town called Nixa, amazing school with great education and athletics. Also one of the fastest growing communities around. Its gonna be a bit of a drive for ya though! Forsyth is a great small community down there as well. Off road parks all over the place! Good luck in Branson (I remember when it only had one show and it was a normal highway....born in Springfield)
Watch out for old people driving, learn the back roads and i hope you enjoy locals that remind you of Deliverance

Old people can't be any worse than here...Grew up in Jersey so I always use back roads...Colorado springs has a ton of sprawl so you drive 20 min to get anywhere! As long as the locals don't tell me I have a purty mouth and ask me to squeal like a pig we're ok. I keep hearing about Nixa so we will definitely check it out. Thanks!

You're only a couple of hours from Flat Nasty where we held Winterfest a few weeks ago. Welcome to the area. Where in Jersey did you grow up? I'm from there as well.
