Places to Ride Near South Louisiana

Alright I searched for this until my eyes starting burning. Either there is nothing on it or I just wasn't holding my mouth right.

I am looking to get into wheeling. But I want to find some other people that wheel near me and see where they go and what vehicle is the best type for around here? Though I really like the Cherokee for a rig.

So does any one live near southern Louisiana or know someone that does that can point me in the right direction?
