What happend to the picture posting option? Did we loose the uploading of pictures?

You can post pictures hosted remotely.
An oversight on my part allowed uploading images directly to the server on all forums.
The only forum with that option active is the Jeep Pictures forum.
People where uploading pics in all of the forums, and that creates a problem for doing site backups.
The pictures in the Jeeps Showcase forum are also "pruned" after a period of time, in order to keep the database size manageable.
