I went with a JK that was open/open on 35's, and an open/open TJ on 32's so we didn't do anything too tough. I ran a couple 3's, 3.5s, and a 4 (everything was a little tougher than normal though, really washed out, and loose), while they just watched and spotted after they took the bypass. Turned out to be great weather up there all day. At one point I slid down a loose hill sideways and got tangled up with a tree.... thought I was going to end up with some major body damage, but ended up with just a small ding in my gutter rail, and a ripped off passenger side mirror (again..... but this time it bent the door up pretty good as well). Anyways here are some of the pics I took.

Playing on the RTI ramp.... It was here that I realized that I need much longer Brake Lines. I could have probably went another 10-12 inches up the ramp, but my brake lines were maxed out.

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to get longer front brake lines, check this out.
Front brake lines for a Chevy Pickup. Stock TJ lines are 18" long. These are 25" long. YJ lines are 22" long.
AutoZone part number 77761
AutoZone part number 77760

Which do you think would be best. I am sitting around 5.5 in the front and close to the same in the rear. Do you think the YJ lines would be best?

OK i checked the part numbers you suggested at my local auto zone, and that looks like the route I will take. That will be MUCH cheaper! Thanks

Sweet! I think I will be picking some of those up as well.

Man I forgot how nice it was out there, even if it rains.

I run the Chevy break lines and I have not even come close to maxing them... of course your XJ is about an inch taller than mine.

Turns out there was a little bit more carnage then I thought. My bushings on my RC lowers, and the flex joints on the brand new uppers are shot after this trip. The uppers are only a month old. I ordered them 3/18/09. I messaged Jason about it. I can't believe they are already toast. They looked super beefy when I put them in, and I grease my front end at least once every two weeks. :(

I ordered them on 3/18/2009, and installed them when I received them, they have barely been on there a month or so. They had completely spit out the snap ring and washer, and the bushing in the flex joint was badly wallowed out. My axle would roll forward and backward about an inch or two whenever I started or stopped moving. I took out the uppers, and pressed the bushing back in with the washer, and put the snap ring back in, but they are still really sloppy and loose. I still get some axle roll even with them back in. Worst part about it, is that the ruined flex joints, have now caused my new "axle end" upper control arm bushings to go. So now I get to deal with the PITA of replacing them again. I am currently messaging back and forth with Jason from RC about it.

Looks like they may replace them.... I think they are wanting to take a look at these to see why they failed. I would have been happy with just a rebuild kit, but I'm not gonna turn down new control arms.

I run these and with 6-7" lift in the front I still have plenty left over at full flex.
