CRASH and I met up with the group in Grand Junction on Oct. 5th for a little warm up run for the following week's big extravaganza.
Yellaheep, Crunch, John Bjorn, CRASH, and I ran the whole trail though to the top. Wally was having probs with his axle disconnect so he parked his YJ early and watched the begining.

Lots of fun and the top section was quite a challenge compared to when I ran it in May with the BOTW group.

Ya, I thought that was pretty funny. A lot of people saying we couldn't get through the trail so I hiked up to the end to look at it, seeing nothing too difficult only to find that we had already driven the impassable spot.

I'll second that - Thanks Jes for posting those pics!

It was good to actually run a Colorado trail on the way to Moab for a change....... That was a fantastic day with a great group of 'wheelers!

I'm glad you guys had a good time. It was hard to pass that sign that said "Moab 30 Miles" and drive another hour to Grand Junction when I was already tired but it was well worth it!
