So due to the fact that the Cherokee needs a little work and more work then something I could do over the weekend. I have been looking around at getting another vehicle I could dd/ww, so I found this one. I owned a ZJ about a 1 year ago, while I was building my cherokee and loved the way they rode even lifted so I found this one, let me know what you guys think. It needs a little work but for a 98 Grand Cherokee, 4.0L, 242 tcase and 93,000 miles I wont be complain. Oh and dont worry, its not like I am going to turn on the Cherokee, I love XJs always have and always will.

ZJ's make good rigs. my buddy beats the hell out of his and it keeps coming back for more.

bigger tires might be in the plans, a Kevin's offroad rear tire carrier bumper is totally the next investment but the stickers I think I'll keep, I think the stickers look pretty good on it. :)

Looks like you could stretch the wheelbase five or six inches...

But a nice place to start!

Agreed, good platform to work with but the short arms in the rear are really showing their stuff when they pull the rearend that close to the fenderwell. I dig the color too, probably my favorite color that Jeep has/had out.

Sorry to bring up an oldish thread, but custom 4x4 fabrication has some really good looking bumpers for zj's. If I had a zj, I would check his bumpers out. I have his xj bumpers and sliders on my xj now. Over built stuff at a great price.
