Well, since I will be getting a jeep soon I knew tires were priority number 1. I found 4 used tires with about 90% tread for really cheap. All 4 are worn the same which as you can see isn't much. I also found 1 used BFG Mud for a spare for cheap as well. Tires are 33x12.5x15. Rims are going back to original owner.

Anyone ever heard of or used these tires? The tread is actually pretty beefy. Hopefully they get me by.

what r u gonna do if you get a stock height jeep and the 33's dont fit? then wouldnt lift be priority #1? ;) i know my xj's first priority was lift then tires but everyone has their priority's set differently

dude i just read about a guy who put 40" tires and a big block v8 into an XJ on 2" of lift...

time, patience, a sawzall, some sheet metal and a wedler and your good to go :D might need some tubing too but nothing over 1.5 dia. :D

HaHa, thats what I first said to the chief. It is really one of the weirdest tread patterns I have seen. I wonder if they will do okay wheeling? I'm going to try to stay away from mud holes, but the trails always seem to be wet and slimy here in TN.

True. Trailratethis has had great luck with his BFG AT's. He seems to go everywhere with them without issues. He stays clear of the mud holes though which is probably smart anyways. I just cleaned them up this morning so they are looking a lot better.
