Some epoxy crap. That was the only one dark and cracked...and it just happened to be next to some puffy caps. Odd that I find that inside my old LCD monitor after it went pewf.

I have always used a wide angle lens here and was not really thrilled with the result. I like the compression provided by a telephoto lens muuuuch better!

My Christmas cactus decided to throw out one last bloom, so I used the opportunity to play with different lighting and with the macro capabilites of my Sigma 17-70 lens.

Took the daughter and son-in-law on a short hike on the Kalalu trail yesterday.
Jennifer is not accustomed to hiking, so I had ample opportunity to take some pics with the super-macro setting on my Fuji, then walk at my normal pace for half a minute to catch up....
