performance chip 79 bucks with 50 hp gain?

i was wondering if this was a to good to be true scam or if this chip actually works and was wondering if anyone has it or herd of it before

BS! It's pretty much a diode. They sell them at radio shack for 2 bucks... I wouldn't install that on my bicycle.

As far as I know theres no way to add a 'chip' to a gas engine to add HP. All you can do is change the fuel/air mixture and waste gas.

yea thats what i figured but i just had to make sure. Besides i dont really need a chip lol mine will still roll but i would like to make a snorkel comming out of the cowl infront of the windsheild haha

Chips work best with turbo engines. I had a Vw Passat that had the Gas 1.8 Turbo engine in it. Once chipped that thing was a monster. I think it gave a true 38 hp or something like that. You could feel it big time.

chips can definately help some vehicles, especially turbo set ups but i dont know about the XJ even late models.

my jk can be chipped to help out alot but it mostly makes the engine more effecient, creating power there and changes the autos shift points to make it peppier. i plan on getting a superchips flashpaque but dont have the money right now.

a 79$ chip does sound crazy low and to expect 50 hp is like believing stickers add to your hp LOL

hahaha yeah i figured and that sounds awsome if i had the money id just stroke mine to 4.6 and not worry bout power haha
