Parts washer, Transefer Case

I am installing an SYE in my Tcase and I was wondering if I could stick it in the parts washer still partially assembled? I was thinking it would be alright since the bearings in it are oiled via the fluid in the TC that it wouldn't hurt them.
If it will hurt them I will just clean it up the best I can without the washer.

It would be almost impossible to get all of the cleaning fluid out to the TC. It and lubricants won't play well together. If you want it that clean, take it completely apart and do the job right. Otherwise just take a pressure washer to it or take it to the car wash.

Water is less damaging (unless left to rust) than solvent on some parts, but not sure there is anything in the tcase that would be affected. Take hoto: of your work so you know where stuff goes!

I didn't state that right. I meant to use the pressure washer on the outside of the t-case to get the dirt and gunk off. I would make sure that no water got inside to contaminate things.
