Outgoing PM's

I have been trying to answer a private message I received several days ago, and when I reply, nothing appears in my sent items. I am fairly new on the forums...is it possible there is a post limit for private messaging? I tried to search for an answer but didnt find anything.

Click on User CP, then on edit options. There should be a box that says Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default. Make sure that box is checked.
